Basketball season is finally here. Well, exhibition season is here. Tonight at 6:30, the Arizona Wildcats will showcase their new talent against a team not wearing red or blue.
Humboldt State hails from northern California where they are known more for marijuana than basketball which means Tucson should have a happy Halloween.
This game should not be competitive as the talent levels are no where near close. However, the final score may may look closer as Arizona will be looking to get its kinks out, as well as getting in more players than they will during the season.
One thing to look forward to is who will start. I predict Mark Lyons at PG, Nick Johnson at SG, Solomon Hill at SF, Grant Jerrett at PF, and Angelo Chol at C.
Lyons, Johnson, and Hill are obvious. However, I chose Jerrett because he has earned it. Sean Miller loves him and he came to play in the Red/Blue game. Chol on the other hand has already been through this. He’s a defensive presence and I thought Tarczewski did not play to his potential during the aforementioned game.
