Arizona’s Ka’Deem Carey Named to First Team All Pac-12, Matt Scott and Austin Hill also Honored

Nov. 23, 2012; Tucson, AZ, USA: Arizona Wildcats running back (25) Ka

Today the All-Conference teams were announced and Arizona had a great seat at the table.

Running back Ka’Deem Carey, who leads the nation in rushing yards (by over 100) and is third in TD’s (20) was named to the first team All Pac-12.  According to the Daily Star’s Ryan Finley, he is the first Arizona RB since 2001 to be honored in such a way.

QB Matt Scott and WR Austin Hill were also named to the second team All Pac-12, which gave Arizona three offensive skill position players across both teams, the most in the conference.  UA, not surprisingly, had no players picked to the All-Defense teams.

The Wildcats did however have four players as Honorable Mentions: WR Dan Buckner, LB Jake Fischer, OL Kyle Quinn, and DB Jared Tevis.

You can find the entire All-Conference teams here.
