Cliff Alexander, a junior prospect out of Chicago Curie High School, has put Arizona on his list with nine other schools. ESPN ranks Alexander second overall on their prospect list for 2014. Obviously, this makes Alexander a five star recruit. The other schools on the list–and Alexander has indicated that there is no special order–include Kansas, Michigan State, Kentucky, Louisville, Illinois, DePaul, Indiana, Memphis and Baylor.
Alexander is a 6’8″, 225lb power forward and would make a great addition to Miller’s arsenal. As we have already seen, Miller heavily recruits forwards for their natural born versatility and athleticism.
This is clearly good news for Arizona, as the Wildcats now have the two top ranked junior prospects in the nation considering them. Jahlil Okafor, a 6’10′ center who hails from the same state of Illinois, also has Arizona on his list. Experts have noted it would not be surprising if the two best prospects in the country chose the same college, as they both play together for the Mac Irvin Fire. Let’s hope it’s Zona.
