Ex-Arizona Wildcats in the NFL: Week 7

Thirteen former Arizona Wildcats remain on NFL rosters. Let’s take a look at how those players performed in their games last week:

Lance Briggs, LB, Chicago Bears
Briggs had eight tackles and two pass deflections before leaving with an injury in a 45-41 loss to Washington. On Monday, it was reported that he will be out 4-6 weeks with a shoulder injury.
2013 Stats: 7 games played (seven starts), 64 tackles, 2.0 sacks, eight pass deflections, two forced fumbles

Eben Britton, OL, Chicago Bears
Britton played in his fourth consecutive game in the Bears’ 45-41 loss to Washington.
2013 Stats: 4 games played (one start)

Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona Cardinals
Cason recorded one tackle in the Cardinals’ 34-22 loss to Seattle on Thursday.
2013 Stats: 7 games played, four tackles

Juron Criner, WR, Oakland Raiders
The Raiders had a bye this week. They will return to action on Sunday against Pittsburgh.
2013 Stats: N/A

Nick Foles, QB, Philadelphia Eagles
Foles started his second consecutive game and completed 11-of-29 passes for 80 yards before leaving the game with a concussion. He also ran three times for 25 yards in the Eagles’ 17-3 loss to Dallas.
2013 Stats: 5 games played (two starts), 52-for-90 (57.8 completion percentage), 622 passing yards, six passing touchdowns, one rushing touchdown

Nick Folk, K, New York Jets
Folk kicked his third game-winning field goal this season, making a 42-yard field goal in overtime to beat New England 30-27. He made all three of his field goal attempts and all three of his PATs to remain perfect on the season and recorded touchbacks on 3-of-7 kickoffs.
2013 Stats: 7 games played, 16-for-16 field goals (long of 48), 12-for-12 PATs, 33 kickoffs, 21 touchbacks

Robert Golden, DB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Golden played but didn’t record any statistics in a 19-16 win over Balitmore.
2013 Stats: 6 games played, six tackles

Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England Patriots
Gronkowski made his season debut Sunday and caught eight passes for 114 yards. The Patriots lost 30-27 in overtime loss to the New York Jets.
2013 Stats: 1 game played (one start), eight catches, 114 receiving yards

Earl Mitchell, DT, Houston Texans
Mitchell had five tackles and a sack in a 17-16 loss to Kansas City.
2013 Stats: 7 games played (seven starts), 20 tackles, 1.0 sack

Brooks Reed, LB, Houston Texans
Reed had three tackles in a 17-16 loss to Kansas City.
2013 Stats: 7 games played (seven starts), 28 tackles, 1.0 sack

Practice Squad: Fendi Onobun, TE (Chicago Bears), D’Aundre Reed, DL (San Francisco 49ers), Matt Scott, QB (Jacksonville Jaguars)
