2013-14 Arizona Basketball Tickets: 5 Most Expensive Home Games

The Arizona Wildcats are the top ranked team in the Pac-12 this season and appear to be true contenders for a National Championship. Arizona’s freshman guard Aaron Gordon has been playing fantastic in his first season with the Wildcats and is on the Watch list for the Wooden Award, given to the nation’s most outstanding player in college basketball. With Gordon at the helm Arizona has ascended to the #5 ranking in the AP poll, while Arizona Basketball tickets are #14 in the TiqIQ Top 25 for the most expensive home average in college basketball at $87. Arizona’s most expensive home games of the season are:

1) 1/16 vs Arizona State: Avg $146 / Get-in $64 / 68% Above Avg

This instate rivalry is always circled on both teams calendar as the most important game of the season and as a result will be Arizona’s most expensive game as well. These two teams have combined for many memorable games in the past and this meeting should be no different. Tickets are currently 68% above the average for Wildcat home games going for $146 with a Get-in of $64.

2) 3/2 vs Stanford: Avg $134 / Get-in $70 / 54% Above Avg

Arizona’s second priciest home game of the year is also their last one. When Stanford visits Tucson on March 2nd it will be for an important conference game as both teams figure to be jockeying for seeding in the Pac-12 tournament. Tickets for this game are averaging $134, up 54% from normal Wildcat games.

3) 2/6 vs Oregon: Avg $133 / Get-in $46 / 53% Above Avg

Coming in just behind Stanford, the Wildcats early February game against the Oregon Ducks ranks as the third most expensive game of the season averaging $133 per ticket. This is 53% above normal for Wildcat home games but with plenty of tickets still available there is a low Get-in price of $46.

4) 1/23 vs Colorado: Avg $121 / Get-in $41 / 39% Above Avg

Colorado has been improving each year and hope to take the next step this year to become one of the best teams in the country. They Buffaloes currently aren’t ranked inside the Top 25 but that should change by this late January meeting where tickets are going for 39% above average at $121 with a reasonable Get-in price of $41.

5) 2/26 vs California: Avg $101 / Get-in $50 / 16% Above Avg

Finishing out Arizona’s five most expensive games of the season are the California Golden Bears for which tickets are presently going for as low as $50 and are averaging $101.
