Arizona Basketball Tickets: Top Games Of January

The Arizona Wildcats have ascended to the top ranked team in all of college basketball this season with an undefeated record. The Wildcats have been able to move up in the polls by beating some very good teams such as #6 Duke along with #24 San Diego State, Michigan and Texas Tech, all of whom are all leading their respective conferences this season. Arizona has been led by Nick Johnson and freshman Aaron Gordon who have been the lifeblood of this team playing fantastic together and raising the level of play of their teammates in the process.

This year, Arizona basketball tickets are averaging $75 at home, good for 18th in the nation. With that in mind, here’s a look at their top games for January as the Wildcats look to continue their great start:

  • 1/2 vs Washington State – Avg $65; Get-in $25

Arizona begins the month at home against the Washington State Cougars on January 2nd to begin Pac-12 regular season play. Washington State is one of the worst teams on offense Tickets for this game are averaging $65 but Cats fans can get-in for as low as $25.

  • 1/4 vs Washington – Avg $70; Get-in $34

Directly after play Washington State to begin the month at home Arizona plays the other team from that state, the Washington Huskies. The Huskies will need to be at their best to keep up with this high tempo Wildcat squad wherein tickets are going for as little as $34 with an average cost of $70 per person.

There are no bigger rivals for the Wildcats than the Arizona State Sun Devils which means that ticket prices soar when these two teams get together. This years annual meeting for bragging rights in Arizona has seen the average ticket price go up all the way to $165 with a Get-in alone of $70.

  • 1/23 vs Colorado - Avg $82; Get-in $43

The next game the Cats play after their bitter rival will be against the Colorado Buffaloes who are currently ranked #20 in the AP Top 25. Colorado, just like Arizona, have been one of the best rebounding teams in college basketball this season and whoever can win this battle will win the game in all likelihood. Arizona fans can get into this game for $43 but will find most tickets going for an average of $82.

  • 1/26 vs Utah - Avg $81; Get-in $44

Utah is currently off to one of their best starts in school history propelling them to their 9-1 start to the season after only winning 15 all of last year. The Utes are Arizona’s last home game of January before heading off to Stanford and Cal for a mini road trip. Tickets are averaging $81 for this tilt and should be one of the Wildcats more exciting games of the season.
