Coach Sean Miller: Can We Adore Him Any More Than We Do?
How many ways do we love and admire Arizona Wildcats Head Basketball Coach Sean Miller? Just when we thought we were out of ways, we found one more, Sean Miller was a child basketball prodigy!
We saw this post on Buzzfeed, the Ten Things We Love About Coach Miller by AZ WILDCAT, and in it we found this little gem of a video of a 12-year-old Sean Miller. It was just to precious not to share with all of you avid Arizona Wildcat fans. We know some of you have already seen or heard about this, but for those of you who haven’t you are in for a treat.
The video shows Sean talking to a reporter explaining that his dad saw “Crazy George” and Sean’s dad asked if he could teach a kid how to do basketball tricks, he gave him a book. No only did he practice two hours a day, he was also on a basketball team.
Mini Coach Miller also explains his goals to play college basketball, which is a goal he did reach, but also at the time he probably had no idea that he would eventually become a well-respected and adored NCAA Division I college coach.

After that video finished on YouTube.com, the next video was even more impressive, he was on the Johnny Carson show teaching Johnny how do tricks with a basketball.

We adore Sean Miller because he brought us the Pac-12 Trophy this year which hasn’t been done in 13 years or since 2002. This is just a priceless photo of Coach Miller, staring lovingly into his trophy like it’s a baby…can’t say we blame him! Brittany Chen (@_chensational) couldn’t have said it better, “I want someone to look at me the way Sean miller looks at this trophy.”
We adore Sean Miller because his players adore their coach, he builds strong bonds with them very quickly, sometimes he only has a year, but the players seem to always find their way back to him!
And those faces! Wow! I would think its hard to see your coach look that animated shouting out instructions in code over the loud Wildcats fans, and still stay calm, but they do! It’s a miracle.

But its all worth it in the end when you see this happy look, which is well deserved:

Look we can go on and on. We are just so happy that we have more years of enjoying and adoring our Wildcats basketball coach who cares about us, cares about his players, cares about winning, and knows how to put it all in perspective. Basketball is life, enough said!
