The Wildcats came off their huge home win over the Utah Utes and hit the road for a quick two game bay area road trip.
The #25 Stanford Cardinal were up first and both teams had to deal with some pretty bad officiating. Arizona overcame a slight 41-39 halftime deficit and completely dominated the second half. The final score was 89-82 Arizona, but there were a lot of garbage time points for Stanford and the game was not that close. It was a very nice road win over a ranked opponent for Arizona.
Up next were the struggling Cal Bears and the Wildcats easily handled them 73-50. The first 16 minutes were tight due to some ugly basketball by both teams, but the Wildcats went on a 14-2 run after the under four media timeout and never looked back. Arizona extended their 29-19 halftime lead and ended up winning by 23.
The Wildcats won back-to-back road games for the first time this season.
