March Madness: Arizona Wildcats ZonaZoo is the No. 1 Student Section and made it to the FINAL FOUR, but we all need to continue to prove it to the Nation!

NCSSA

Wildcat fans, do you have a Twitter account? Here’s your chance to vote once a day as many days as possible for the Arizona Wildcats Student Section, the ZonaZoo (@ZonaZooOfficial).  Why vote for the ZonaZoo? Well they say Arizona’s team has won 38 consecutive home games, that’s why!

Here are even more reasons why…The ZonaZoo was officially implemented in 2003 and is managed by a group of students who frequently make it onto your TV named the ZonaZoo Crew.  It is actually one of the best if not the best student section in the nation numbering 9,000 -10,000 students (max of 2500 students can attend basketball games, 9,000 for football).

The ZonaZoo crew is very social savvy and connected to the community as a whole.  All you have to do is go to snapchat, tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Vine to see their posts which are both funny and unique.

They organize and go on road trips to away games, and they host a tailgate before each football game. In addition, their philanthropy includes the ZonaZoo “Junior and Senior Cats” (a mentoring program), the fun “Undie Run” clothing drive event, and their annual Blood drive.

Each student who joins gets a ZonaZoo T-shirt to wear, always red so the ZonaZoo starts the formation of a “Sea of Red” in basketball and football games.  Basketball games are nuts! Frequently ESPNU’s College Game Day show comes to spend the day with the ZonaZoo prior to a big game, and the signs made and student involvement is unreal.

Yesterday it was announced that the ZonaZoo ranked No. 1 in the Nation for the FINAL FOUR in the Student Section bracket challenge from the National Collegiate Student Section Association (NCSSA), following is a little more information about their contest:
