The Arizona Wildcats will be back and reloaded for the 2015 season with 5 incoming players, four Freshman and a Senior, hungry to play. You’re about to get a sneak preview of theses recruits and what they can contribute for this upcoming basketball season.

Allonzo Trier Incoming Freshman:

A 6 ‘4″, 190 pound shooting guard from in Seattle, Washington is ready to play in McKale Center for Coach Sean Miller. Graduating from Findlay College Prep in Las Vegas Nevada where Brandon Ashely and Nick Johnson attended. Allonzo Trier is ranked No. 13 in the nation and has been dubbed to be an unstoppable scorer in this recruiting class. Trier not only was recruited by U of A but a total of seventeen universities were in the biding that include Kansas, UCLA and Wichita State.

Trier’s Strengthens according to an ESPN scouting report, “Trier is a very talent and confident offensive player that has the mentality he can score anytime he wants and on any defender.”

Cutting to the basketball and getting to the rim at will, he can create space from defenders and hit difficult shots. I watched his Ballislife highlight video and found that he explodes to get to the basket and then finishes nicely.

On the downside he can be shaky on offensive rebounding and is known to take some reckless shots, reckless or not, the shots sometimes go in! These things can be easily ironed out over the course of the season. He’s going to be a well around offensive player for Coach Miller to use in crunch time and will mature as Stanley Johnson did. It will be a pleasure seeing him put on a Wildcat uniform.
