Arizona Wildcats Top 5 Wins Over College Football Royalty

When you think of college football blue bloods, the Arizona Wildcats are on the outside looking in, but throughout the history of Arizona Football many traditional college football powers have fallen victim to the Wildcats.

College football royalty is an elite class and there are not that many members.

You may notice that the Cats big win over Oregon is not in our top 5. The Ducks have been a juggernaut for the last decade, but until they start putting National Championship Trophies in their evil empire lair, they will be absent from the list of blue blood schools that have been consistently in the National Championship talk for numerous decades.

You will also notice the Cats epic 29-0 throttling of Miami in the 1994 Fiesta Bowl is also absent. Miami is much like our Arizona Basketball program. They have been a force at times since the 1980’s, but before that time little was accomplished on a national scale.

The Cats have played many historically elite football schools over the years and have fallen to power schools Texas and Michigan in their history. But Arizona has had success over many other aristocratic programs.
