The Gronk is only 26 years old and he has accomplished a lot.
Rob Gronkowski‘s name comes up a lot these days. Whether he is giving dating advice, or he is celebrating after winning the super bowl, or he is raising money for charity.
In 2006, Gronkowski had moved to Pennsylvania and attended Woodland Hills High School winning multiple awards while playing in his senior year. From there, he decided to attend the University of Arizona.

In 2007, Gronkowski set a new school record as a true freshman, the most reception yardage from a tight end with a record eight receptions for 525 yards and six touchdowns. He was named an All-American by both Rivals and The Sporting News as well.
Gronkowski missed the first three games of his 2008 season, but that didn’t stop him from racking up more yards than his freshman season. His season totals included 47 receptions for 672 yards and ten touchdowns which were the most scored on the team. He was awarded the John Mackey National Tight End of the Week twice. According to his website, GronkNation.com, ‘he set the school tight end records for single-game, single-season, and career receptions, yards, and touchdowns.’
Arizona Wildcats fans had the pleasure of cheering on Gronk two years as he left the school early to enter the 2010 NFL Draft after his sophomore year. Chosen 42nd overall in the second round of the NFL Draft by the New England Patriots, Gronk continues to blaze trails as their star tight end.
Gronk has become one of New Englands Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s favorite targets. Here are some of Gronk’s NFL career highlights:

- In six seasons, he has scored a total of 62 touchdowns
- In 2011, he was selected as Offensive Player of the week in Week 14
- Invited to three Pro Bowls in 2011, 2012 and 2014
