No. 10 – 2016-17 Pac-12 Tournament Champions

Bring it! That is what the Wildcats did in their 83-80 win over the Oregon Ducks to claim the Pac-12 Tournament Championship. Allonzo Trier lead the team with 23 points and earn tournament MVP – Zo time!

Resilient would be the best way to describe this season for the Cats. There were ups and downs, injuries, a 19 game player suspension that the team had to deal with – that’s all! Winning the Pac-12 Tournament was a result of all the hard work and confidence the team had in Coach Miller’s system.

The Wildcats had a six-point lead heading into halftime, taking advantage of the absence of Oregon Duck’s shot blocker Chris Boucher (out due to injury). In the second half, the Ducks fought their way back and got as close as 79-77, but Trier hit some key free throws at the end to secure the victory for the Wildcats.
