Many Wildcat fans thought it was a bad idea for Comanche to leave after his sophomore year, but sometimes in life you have to do what’s in the best interest for you and your family. His decision to take his talents to the NBA has turned out to be a great one.

As a Wildcat, Comanche increased his overall point per game and rebounds per game over the course of two seasons. His sophomore year he averaged six points, four rebounds in about 18 minutes per game. Comanche used is long win span and athleticism down low to score the with authority – throw it down Chief!

After leaving Arizona, Comanche was not invited to the NBA Draft Combine nor the NBA Summer League, but that did stop him from putting in work on and off the court! He did end up putting in workouts for the Grizzlies, New York Knicks, Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder.

On the court, he competed at a very high level at the Drew League for the Clozers. In one game he put up a double-double performance – 21 points, 11 rebounds and three assists.  Known mainly for his dunking abilities as a Wildcat, Comanche displayed his other talents from beyond the arc and sweet looking jumpers like this one:

Off the court, Comanche has been put in a lot of work into his strength and overall conditioning:

One of the qualities of Comanche that gets overlooked is his positive attitude. Yes, he’s got an amazing upside, yes he can HAMMER the ball home, yes he has a ridiculous wingspan of 7 foot 2 inches, but on top of that to have such a positive attitude on life and wanting to be the best he can be is inspiring and awesome!

Remember back in April? There was a Snapchat post taken by Comanche of a black Lamborghini? Everyone was speculating that he bought the car, but it ended up actually being a gift from his auntie. She rented the car for him for his 21st birthday and for all the hard work he put in during his first two years at Arizona. Now Comanche has the chance to purchase a car for himself after signing a G League deal with the Memphis Hustle.
