Khalil Tate is The Truth, first ever to win Pac-12 Player of the Week 4 weeks in a row
Khalil Tate won Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth week in a row on Homecoming. It’s never been done before.
The day after Arizona Football has nationally ranked anywhere between 18 and 23 depending on the poll, Khalil Tate won Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for the fourth week in a row. It’s never been done before. Tate’s 82-yard run was the longest rush by a quarterback in school history.
Postgame locker room speeches after a win like this are fantastic, and Rich Rod didn’t disappoint. “The more you win, the more is at stake, right? [yes sir said the team] We are going to enjoy this for 24 hours, you’ve made yourself relevant, the next one is really big, you understand that right? [yeah said the team]” said the head coach, “Be smart tonight, hug a teammate and let’s sing the fight song!”
The Nation needs to wake up! Khalil Tate and his offensive team are for real! Each week brings a new record or new stat that just makes one speechless. We will take you through all that so you can help The Truth (his aunt’s nickname for the phenom) in the race for the Heisman.

As far as the team awards, Tate helped Arizona Football to be added to the list of Football Writers National Team of the Week. Maybe that’s because the Wildcats are one of the Top 5 offenses with the highest percentage of plays gaining 25+ yards or more.
And don’t forget, Arizona Football is now bowl eligible with six wins.

Nothing short of unbelievable and phenomenal, Tate has left fans speechless and may I say even numb with excitement. Breaking records doing things that most NCAA quarterbacks have never done before. Let us not forget the O-Line, the blocks down the field, the defense with four interceptions, none of this happens without all of it. Football is a team sport, and the first person to tell you that is The Truth, Khalil Tate.
