Long Beach Poly CB Tyric LeBeauf has Arizona Football in his Top 2
Arizona Football has been making waves and recruits are noticing! Long Beach Poly cornerback Tyric LeBeauf has Arizona in his top 2.
With only a few scholarships left for the class of 2018, Arizona Football is once again making some great recruits put them in their top schools. Tate Mania has hit Southern California. Tate’s former Serra Gardena HS target Kobe Smith told Zona Zealots last week that Arizona was in his top three along with Nebraska and Washington.
This week we learned Long Beach Poly cornerback Tyric LeBeauf is seriously considering Arizona. LeBeauf has two former teammates that he may join at either Washington State or Arizona, Arizona true freshman Joshua Brown has seen action in his freshman season in Tucson, and Josh Talbott is redshirting at Washington State. The two Josh’s are best friends and can offer LeBeauf some insights into their schools.
Of course, he told 247Sports that Oregon is starting to show more interested in him, go figure, Taggart going after an Arizona recruit. Wazzu’s been talking to him this week, and Arizona’s Chris Singletary is recruiting him as well. Here is our full interview with Tyric who says he will sign in December and make a few more visits before he commits:
LeBeauf is looking for a 40-year school, not a 4-year school. Education is very important to him as is legacy. I found Tyric a very positive upbeat full of energy young man who loves the game of football. He really enjoys being a cornerback and he is part of the Premium Sports training team of coaches who prepare young recruits for their college careers.

Premium’s motto is “We Everywhere,” and they are. Cal QB commit JT Shrout got his start with Premium as did USC’s Greg Johnson and Joseph Lewis. Both had Arizona offers but were recruited by Donte Williams who doubled his salary at Nebraska. If LeBeauf is training with Premium, he is training against and with the best in Southern California.
Premium trainers were spotted all over the sidelines of this game as Long Beach Poly lost a heartbreaker to Serra Gardena last Friday night 24-20 on a fourth down stop in the red zone. LeBeauf stopped a touchdown in the first half keeping his team in the game up until the last minute and a half. The game came down to turnovers, but Serra was charged with at least three huge penalties which gave the momentum to LB Poly.
Arizona’s class of 2018 is almost full with 2-3 scholarships left (Haki Woods just opened up his recruitment), it seems there are some powerful recruits still not committed. This may mean the Arizona coaching staff will have to start dishing out grey and blue shirts to get everyone they want. Not a bad problem to have.

I cannot overemphasize how impressed I am with these Arizona recruits. Coach Chris Singletary and his crew do a great job when finding athletes to offer. We send our love back to Tyric and wish him much success on whatever school he chooses. Bear Down!
