Cap-Cam’s anyone?

Last but not least, more referee “Cap-Cams” will be seen on the field. If you have never noticed, the head official typically has a Cap-Cam, with no audio, clipped to their hat.

With the new rule, any official can wear a Cap-Cam while out on the field. But it must be approved by both teams and both conferences.

Cap Cams were experimented with last season during the bowl games, and apparently, it got a good enough review to make it official. It’s not the “sexiest” rule change, but here at ZonaZealots, we want to be sure we’re thorough and don’t leave anything out.
