Approaching the end of the 2018 Arizona Football season, the kick-off time has been set for the annual Territorial Cup game.

We’re into the month of November and that means the annual Territorial Cup between Arizona and ASU is quickly approaching. The rivalry will once again have pretty big implications depending on the results.

As it stands, both teams are tied for second in the conference with an outside chance of winning the Pac-12 South. Currently, Arizona sits at 5-5 (4-3), and ASU 6-4 (4-3) on the year.

The Wildcats just need one more win to become bowl eligible, but first have to play a Top-10 team in Washington State on the road this week. So their potential postseason play could feasibly come down to beating ASU.

With the game still two weeks away, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the trash talk and animosity is already heating up. Being another step closer to that annual showdown, we finally have an official kick-off time for the game.

On Monday, it was announced that the two schools will kick-off at 1:30 pm MST/ 12:30 pm PST on November 24. The game will be televised on FoxSports1 and will be played at Arizona Stadium in Tucson.

This will be the 92nd meeting between the schools and the Wildcats still hold a 49-41-1 advantage over the ‘school up north’.

It’s hard to say who will be favored in this one, as most of the times it’s been a close game in years past. Of course as we are all aware, the Solar Satan’s won last years’ game in Tempe by a 42-30 final.

I imagine this will be a hard fought contest once again, and will be another memorable show down. It’s just nice Arizona will finally get a home game this year before 9 pm.

The Wildcats have only had two day games this season, both being on the road. The rest have all come at 7 pm or later. This seems to be a trend for Arizona the past few seasons, not much day time exposure and getting late kick-offs times (granted hot Tucson temps through mid-October can dictate that).

Regardless, it’s just nice to finally get an early kick-off time! Now let’s hope the fans show up for the final home game!
