Gaining momentum in the 2019 recruiting class, the Arizona Basketball team picked up another huge piece with the commitment of Zeke Nnaji.

Sean Miller keeps the ball rolling as he lands yet another, crucial piece in the 2019 recruiting class. On Friday, the Arizona Basketball got a little bit better with the commitment of Zeke Nnaji.

The Minnesotan high schooler announced he would soon be committing, and finally made his decision. At Hopkins High School (the school he currently attends), Zeke picked Arizona!

For those that need the re-introduction, please give a warm welcome to the 6-foot-11, 215-pound forward out of Minnesota. Zeke comes in as a four-star recruit and is rated as the 37th best player nationally. He’s also ranked 10th in the nation at his respective position!

He will be joining a stellar class that includes; Josh Green, Nico Mannion, Terry Armstrong and Christian Koloko. This talented group of soon-to-be Wildcat freshmen, gives Arizona the number one ranked recruiting class in the country currently!

The addition of Zeke is a big one! For one, he will add much needed height and size to the Wildcats’ front court, something greatly lacking this season, but also, he’s just an incredibly versatile player.

For starters, he is a nice two-way player. Offensively, Zeke has the ability to score from the post, with great touch around the basket, but he also possesses the ability to hit a jumper from mid-range and beyond with decent consistency.

Defensively, he can impact the game in so many ways. His length allows him to be a pretty good shot-blocker, and is able to use his size and length to his advantage at getting rebounds. I think with continued development, he can really be a special player.

So there is no doubt that the addition of Zeke is a huge feat and one Wildcat fans should be celebrating.

How huge you may ask? Sean Miller beat out the likes of Kanas, North Carolina and UCLA among others. Considering many pundits announced the Wildcats dead after the FBI scandal broke, how quickly people have forgotten, that Cats have nine lives and Arizona Basketball never stops!

With expectation that most of this years’ roster will be back for next year, our Wildcats should be ready for another title run.

With the addition of Zeke, they will have the depth, size and skill to be one of the best teams in the country!

Just take a look at his highlights!

Welcome to Wildcat nation, Zeke and congrats on the commitment! For Arizona fans, it’s time to hold onto our seats Cats, because we are in for another WILD ride! As always, Bear Down and Go Cats!
