No. 3 – Get J.J. Taylor and your play makers involved early and often

Duh! Arizona scores points when it’s play makers get involved early and often. So far this season, the Wildcats have gotten great contributions by a few different guys, and this Saturday can’t be any different.

ASU’s defense has been solid, and we have to figure they’re going to try and stack the box and make Tate make throws and limit J.J. Taylor.

So far in 2018, Taylor has been the feature of Arizona’s backfield. He’s largely been successful, but ran into a bit of a roadblock against Washington State. The Cougars held him to just 69 yards rushing on 20 carries last Saturday.

The game was a bit frustrating for the shifty running back who had been on a hot streak before then. Against ASU, the Wildcats are going to need another big game from him if they are to win.

However, he can’t carry the entire load. In addition to Taylor, the Wildcats will need big games from receivers Shawn Poindexter, Shun Brown, and anyone else who can step-in and step up!

If Arizona is to keep pace with the potent, Sun Devils offense, the play makers gotta get it done!
