Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
This next player had one of the greatest dunks in Wildcat history and has translated that same type of athleticism at the next level. Mr. Shimmy aka Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is now in his fourth season with the Brooklyn Nets. Like Gordon, he has played with the same team he was drafted by, which in today’s game says a lot as players are always getting traded.
This season, he has played in 17 of the 21 games played and has started in two of them. Jefferson has averaged 9.5 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, 1.5 assist per game and 10 total blocks. In one game so far this season, he put up 21 points against the Philadelphia 76ers:
After coming off the bench for most the season, he has been inserted into the starting lineup to help the Nets fill certain gaps on offensive and defensive. With his long wingspan, toughness and attacking to the rim style of play, Jefferson is a valuable asset to the Nets long-term success.
Jefferson also had his first child this year, congratulations!
