Rawle Alkins

After going undrafted, Rawle Alkins aka Mr. Savagelife has recently been proving why he should have been picked in the NBA draft. After playing with the Toronto Raptors Summer League team, he was signed to a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls. This would guarantee him playing time with the Bulls and also with their NBA G League affiliate the Windy City Bulls.

Alkins has played 11 games for the City Bulls and is averaging 14.5 points per game, 5.1 rebounds per game, 2.7 assists per game and averaging 26.4 minutes. In his last 5 games, he has been on fire with his offensive efficiency, averaging 19.2 points per game, shooting 50% from three and 49.4% from the field. Just recently against the Grand Rapids, he scored 30 points and 8 rebound, helping his team to a three-point victory:

Just a matter of time before Alkins gets his chance to shine for the Bulls. He is personally one of my favorite Wildcat players of all-time. It’s great to see him performing at the level all Wildcat fans were accustom to him playing while he was at Arizona.
