PHILADELPHIA, PA- Bringing a bit more magic to Philadelphia, former Wildcat Nick Foles is leading the Eagles to some improbable wins.

He’s doing it again folks! After taking over as the starter for the Philadelphia Eagles in week 15 last year, former Wildcat Nick Foles led the franchise to their first Super Bowl over perennial power, the New England Patriots.

Once again he has taken over the team as the starter in week 15 this year, and has the team on the cusp of making the playoffs once again.

We must note, that things have not been so fortuitous in the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ this season. Fresh off a Super Bowl victory, the Eagles stumbled out to a 6-7 start.

In comes Foles for the injured Carson Wentz, and once again he has the chance to build on his legendary status.

Week 15 against the NFC West leading Los Angeles Rams, Foles would help the Eagles in delivering a gutsy performance, ultimately sealing the 30-23 win. In that game, Foles finished 24 of 31 passing with 270 yards and an interception.

The savvy NFL veteran made some big throws late in that game to help deliver the win and keep his teams’ playoff hopes alive!

Facing another huge challenge, Foles and the Eagles would face another one of the leagues top teams and defenses in the Houston Texans.

Perhaps in not so surprising fashion, Foles made the improbable probable, putting together a masterful performance. Nick finished the game completing 35 of 49 passes for 471 yards, four touchdowns to just one interception.

His gusty play gave the Eagles the 32-30 win, as well as their second-straight game, keeping their playoff hopes alive!

Foles’ 471 passing was the most passing yards by an Eagles quarterback since Foles did in 2014! Coincidentally, this was also his fourth, 400-yard passing game with the Eagles, breaking the franchises’ record held by Randall Cunningham and Sonny Jurgensen

.

With passes like this… the Eagles are still flying, at least for another week!

At Zona Zealots, we are proud of the way Nick (perhaps the nickname St. Nick is more sufficient at this time) is playing! We hope he continues to Bear Down and show Eagles fans and everybody why we consider him the ‘Goat’! Bear Down, Arizona!
