The BPI is the main ranking ESPN uses to measure how good college basketball teams are.

These rankings are also fluid and change each week, but as of now, Arizona sits at No. 67. The main aspects of the BPI are the strength of record (SOR) and strength of schedule (SOS).

Arizona’s strength of schedule is ranked No. 36 and its strength of record is ranked at No. 39.

These rankings are actually very good considering the Wildcats ups and downs of the season so far. Since these rankings are constantly changing, Arizona fans should expect the Wildcats to move up, especially with where they sit on SOS and SOR.

From the top 68 teams, which is the number of teams that get into the NCAA tournament, Arizona is above only one Pac-12 team (Washington), and behind only ASU (No. 54) and Oregon (No. 47), which is good for Arizona’s tournament chances.
