It’s good to be wanted, and that’s certainly what former Wildcat Nick Foles found out this NFL off-season as the quarterback is about to be PAID!

Perhaps the best back-up in the NFL the past couple of years, former Wildcat Nick Foles is getting his chance at stardom again, as the savvy veteran is signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The all-around nice guy in the NFL and overall lovable Wildcat, Foles has certainly made a name for himself these past few years.

Since first entering the league in 2012, he’s done the following;

  • Thrown for seven touchdowns in a game
  • Made the NFL Pro Bowl in 2013
  • Made the NFL Playoffs in 2013, ’18 & ’19
  • Won Super Bowl LII as the starting quarterback
  • Named Super Bowl LII MVP

Beyond that, in the 54 games played (44 started), he’s thrown for 11,165 yards, 68 touchdowns to just 33 interceptions while completing 61.6 percent of his passes. His record during that time? A respectable 26-18!

So what’s to like about him beyond his football abilities? Well, he doesn’t cause drama, he’s not a cancer to the locker room, he’s just a gamer, and he always has been… dating back to the days when he broke Drew Brees’ high school passing records.

Outside of his rookie season and the lone season spent with the St. Louis Rams, Foles has performed when called upon, and has done so at a high level. The last two years, he’s arguably been at his best!

In 2017-18, we are all well aware of the dominant performance he had on the biggest stage, after picking up where the injured Carson Wentz left off.

This past season, almost a similar situation. Wentz goes down late in the season, the Eagles need a strong stretch of football to make the playoff.

Somehow, Foles helped guide the team to three-straight wins, two of them coming against playoff-caliber teams, as the Eagles made the playoffs, again!

After a solid season in Philly, the Eagles allowed for him to become a free agent and now the former Wildcat will take his talents to Florida, joining a solid Jacksonville team.

On Monday, Foles reportedly signed a deal with $88 million for four years. Wow that’s a lot of money!

Worth it? We’ll find out! We are certainly excited for the former Wildcat, it’s about time he gets the opportunity again! Hopefully this will be a great fit! Bear Down, Arizona!
