Hassan Adams was a high school star, a product of Westchester, California. In 34 games, he averaged 18 pts, five rbs, and three assists winning 32 games. Adams led his team to a CIF Division IA Championship and earned a USA Today No. 1 ranking as a senior.
Adams started in only five games as a Freshman under Lute Olson, but quickly became a starter as a sophomore and never looked back. He averaged 17.5 points per game in his senior year and made an average of over 50% of his 2-pt field goals, 60% in his sophomore year. He played with Channing Frye and Mustafa Shakur who also started in all 37 games in 2005 earning an Elite 8 appearance that year. He and ranked No. 1 in field goals (236) in 2006 and also ranked No. 1 in the Pac-10 in steals in 2005 (69) and 2006 (82).
Drafted in the 2nd round, Adams played only a few years in the NBA, maybe because he started his career with a foot injury care of PJ Tucker. Adams played all over the world in countries such as the Philippines and Singapore.
