Aaron Gordon is coming into his own in the NBA, in 2019, he is the highest Paid NBA Player of all the Wildcats. His splash wasn’t necessarily his first season with the Orlando Magic, but it was a huge splash. Gordon participated in the 2016 NBA Slam Dunk Contest and won! Well, he won, but a judge or two did not give Gordon the 10-score he deserved from jumping over his rotating huge mascot in a pike position, putting the ball under his knees and dunking it. They gave it to former UCLA Bruin and current Chicago Bulls star Zach LaVine.

Listen to the announcers, they thought Gordon had the contest wrapped up and then you see even LaVine had his draw dropped after the last dunk!

Gordon, another Southern California product, landed on the varsity team at  Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California as a freshman. There are way too many championships and awards from his high school career to name here, just scroll up and you will be astounded if you missed it.

Gordon was another McDonald’s All-American, earning MVP honors by scoring 24-points and grabbing eight rebounds for Team West in a 110–99 victory.

While at Arizona, Gordon earned the Pac-12 Freshman Player of the Year award and was voted onto the Pac-12 All-Freshman team. He was a one-and-done and in 2014 was picked 14 overall by the Orlando Magic. He is still playing with the Magic and just signed an astounding
