FIBA Silver Medalist: 1987

Brian Williams, a 6-foot-9 235-pound center started off at Fresno State, transferred to Maryland and then spent two years in Arizona playing for the Wildcats. His high school,  Saint Monica Catholic High School in Santa Monica, California, retired his jersey.

Williams, with fellow Wildcat Jud Buechler, earned an NBA Championship over the Utah Jazz with the Chicago Bulls in 1997 who went 69-13 that year.

In what was a sad turn of events at the height of his NBA career, Dele sailed with his girlfriend off the coast of Tahiti and was never seen or heard from again. He was presumed dead.
