Teammates with Richard Jefferson and Gilbert Arenas at Arizona, Loren Woods started his college career at Wake Forest playing with NBA All-Star and Champion Tim Duncan. After transferring, Woods sat out a year and as a Junior averaged 15.6 ppg (lead the team), 7.5 rpg and 3.9 blocks per game earning 14 blocks against Oregon (a school-high).

Both Woods and Jefferson decided to stay another year and they took the team to the NCAA title game and lost to Duke. Making it to the finals is not easy as we are fully aware.
