Arizona Football offers the son of former Wildcat Legend

With the recruiting cycle heating up for the Arizona Football team, finally the Wildcats have made an offer to the son of former Wildcat Legend!

Finally! It may have taken longer than Wildcat fans had hoped for, but the Arizona Football staff made a much-needed offer in the class of 2020!

So where did that offer go? None other than Bruno Fina, the local high school product and son of former Arizona legend, John Fina.

Already garnering offers from UCLA, USC and Abilene Christian, a standout in the class of 2020 from Salpointe High School in Tucson, AZ, it was only a matter of time to see the young Fina’s offer sheet grow.

However, one important offer that was still missing from all this, was from his dad’s Alma Mater. Finally, on Monday evening the Wildcats offered Bruno, bringing his total offers up to four, with this now being his third Pac-12 offer.

With already two commitments in the class for 2020 and plenty of offers out, this is an offer that needed to happen. Beyond being important because Fina is a legacy kid, he’s at an important position (the offensive line), has solid size (currently standing 6-feet-4-inches and 240 pounds), and has a lot of upside.

Bruno certainly comes from great lineage, with his dad not only being a standout for the Wildcats, but a multi-year starter in the NFL, having played with the Bills and Cardinals most notably.

Perhaps more pleased to see the Arizona come through than Bruno himself, was his dad John. The elder Fina took to social media to share his excitement.

As stated, the offer is a big one. Fina possesses good size already and can certainly add more size before getting to the college level.

Bruno has a great frame and overall is incredibly athletic for a player his size. Mostly lining up at guard on film, Fina moves well, gets great leverage in his blocks and has a nose for getting the pancake!

Gotta the love the aggressiveness he plays with, and you can tell the upside is there! There are a lot of things to like about the way Fina plays, very reminiscent of his dad!
