Making moves for the class of 2021, the Arizona Football team has finally made an offer to local, running back prospect, Stevie Rocker!

The Canyon Del Oro High School to the University of Arizona pipeline could soon be starting again! Making moves for the class of 2021 now, the Arizona Football team has officially offered CDO running back, Stevie Rocker!

As you may recall, we highlighted Rocker just weeks ago, after the local football player was then given an offer by conference foe, the Cal Golden Bears. Well, fast forward a few weeks, and now Rocker has an offer from the Wildcats!

And all we can say, is that it’s about time!

However, picking up steam in his recruitment, Rocker is now officially up to four division one offers! On Sunday afternoon, the Wildcats officially joined the Rocker recruitment!

Still not quite a junior, Rocker will head in to the upcoming season with offers from Nevada, Cal and BYU in addition to Arizona.

While it still is early in the process, I think the Wildcats are making a smart decision to recruit Stevie now! As I had stated before, I believe this kid is one of the best running backs in the state for his class, and should be a priority for the Cats.

Standing an impressive 6-feet and 185 pounds, I think Rocker has a lot of potential.

Playing just up the road from campus, this past season, Rocker put together a terrific sophomore campaign, running for 1,163 yards on 130 carries (8.9 average), with 12 touchdowns rushing in just nine games.

On top of that, he added another 182 yards receiving on five receptions with three touchdowns as the Dorados went 6-5 this past season according to Maxpreps.

The kid is talented, and it’s great to see the Wildcats start to make an effort in recruiting him!

Rocker is a big back that moves well, and has the perfect blend of vision, speed, power and athleticism.

He runs with great pad height, until he gets to the open field where he’s then able to show his burst of speed.

He’s a powerful runner when he gets to that second level, and another thing to covet with Rocker is his blocking ability downfield, as he doesn’t shy from contact!

Overall he is an impressive player for sure!
