Arizona Football hosts 4-star defensive end, and brother of current Wildcat
Considered to be one of the top, in-state recruits for the Class of 2020, the Arizona Football team hosted 4-star pass rusher, Jason Harris!
Perhaps good things could be brewing for the Arizona Football team with recruiting! With just four commits in the class of 2020 currently, the Wildcats are making progress with a few of their top targets.
This weekend was a potentially big weekend for the Cats, as they hosted four-star defensive end and brother of current Wildcat, Jason Harris.
Arizona Wildcats
A two-sport standout at Higley High School in Gilbert, AZ, Harris is considered not only one of the best players in the state, but is also one of the best in the country, ranking 137th overall according to 247Sports.
He is the talented son of former Wildcats Cha’Ron Harris (former women’s basketball star) and Sean Harris (former football star). Moreover, his older brother Jalen Harris is set to potentially have a huge year with the Arizona Football team this upcoming season!
As we said, Jason is considered to be one of the best. Entering his senior season, he’s already garnering attention from nearly every major program in the country, and luckily for us, Arizona seems to be right in the thick of it!
Well, in order for Arizona to stay competitive in this recruitment, this weekend was definitely an important one for the Wildcats as they hosted Jason. His host for his visit? None other than his older brother, Jalen!

The senior-to-be has been to campus numerous times already, but this weekend was actually an official visit for the young Harris and perhaps an important one for Arizona to again stay in this recruitment.
As it stands, it seems Jason is also considering Oregon, Texas A&M and UCLA most notably, but as stated, he has an offer from virtually every major program.
At 6-feet-7-inches and 220 pounds, it’s no wonder why many are coveting this young athlete! He’s a two-sport star with a good motor, great athleticism and tremendous upside.
Just from watching his film, you can clearly see Jason is strong, he’s quick and gives relentless effort. Often lining up outside as edge rusher, he explodes off the line and often gets to the backfield with relative ease.
He’s big, long and can make it hell for opposing offenses! Just take a look for yourself!
At Zona Zealots, we’re excited the Wildcats are giving it everything they got with Jason, and hope they can get Jason to join the Wildcat family! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
