No. 17 – Arizona comes from behind in the last minute to beat Florida

Who: Pac-12/ACC Showdown between Arizona and No. 5 Florida

When: 12/15/2012

Where: McKale Center (Tucson, AZ)

Game stats: Solomon Hill has a game-high 18 points, meanwhile Nick Johnson finished with 15, and Mark Lyons finished with 14 (including the game-winner)!

Never count the Wildcats out! Down six points with just a minute remaining, most thought that this one was over. The No. 8 Wildcats though pulled off one of the greatest wins in Wildcat history, as they defeated the visiting, No. 5 Florida Gators 65-64.

After forcing three straight turnovers, the Wildcats put themselves in a position to win it, when senior point guard Mark Lyons hit the game-winning layup with seven seconds left, giving the Wildcats the incredible come from behind win.

Interesting fact, earlier that same day, the Arizona Wildcats Football team overcame a 13-point deficit with 1:48 to play in the New Mexico Bowl against Nevada to win 49-48.

Both of the teams defined what it means to Bear Down!
