Where: McKale Center

Game stats: All five starters for the Wildcats scored in double figures, Channing Frye and Jason Gardner led the team with 19 points each, Luke Walton had 18 points, Rick Anderson and Salim Stoudamire had 13 each.

Over the years, there have been some epic showdowns between conference rivals, UCLA and Arizona. When these two teams met on January 19, 2002, we would be graced with arguably one of the best games in Arizona Basketball history.

Led by a slew of talent like Jason Gardner, Luke Walton, Channing Frye, Rick Anderson, and Salim Stoudamire among others, this group would put together an amazing performance against the Bruins.

UCLA would have one of their best shooting performances here, connecting on 17-33 attempts. Looking like this one would be a route, UCLA would lead 73-53 with 13:37 to play.

That’s when put together one of their best runs in school history, erasing a 20-point deficit and outscoring the Bruins 43-13 over the last 13 minutes to win this one by an 86-76 final!
