No. 5 – USC Trojans

Conference: Pac-12

2018 Record 5-7 (4-5)

Game Info: October 19 (Saturday) | TBD | Los Angeles, CA (Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum)

Record vs USC: 8-33 (USC won the last match-up 24-20 in Tucson in 2018)

Coming in at No. 5 on our list is USC. Disregard their inconsistencies over the past couple seasons, but make no mistake, in terms of talent USC is either No. 1 or No. 2 in the conference. Look no further than their recruiting rankings the past few seasons; No. 20 (2019), No. 4 (2018), No. 4 (2017) and No. 10 (2016).

The Trojans have talent… and I mean a lot of talent. I think coaching is where they lack, but regardless of that they will be a tough match-up.

Historically, Arizona doesn’t have a good history against the Trojans, and being that this game is at the Coliseum where the Wildcats haven’t won since 2009, this will likely be another tough game.

The Wildcats did almost win last season, so perhaps with the inconsistencies the Trojans have had, maybe Arizona can find a way to win this one, but it’s going to be a challenge and the reason why USC is No. 5 on the list.
