No. 6 – Christian Roland-Wallace

Position: Cornerback

Year: Freshman

Size: 5-feet-11-inches | 198 pounds

Stats in 2017 (High School): 5 carries | 48 yards – 42 receptions | 611 yards | 10 touchdowns – 31 tackles (23 solo) | 4 INT | 2 Pass Deflections | 1 Fumble Recovery

Another one of the newcomers for the 2019 class, Christian Roland-Wallace is one of my favorite commits in the class. A standout athlete at William Knight High School in Palmdale, CA, he will be coming to Tucson to play cornerback and has an opportunity to play early.

Finally, Arizona is building depth in the secondary, but nonetheless Roland-Wallace should have a great opportunity to make an impact. I could see him being in the two-deep for the corner position and with his size and athleticism, this shouldn’t be too much of a stretch to either see him get reps at corner, and likely special teams as well.

Right now, physically, he looks about the most college ready among the freshman, and his size and length should provide immediate depth in that secondary. Look for Christian to potentially break out this year!
