No. 5 – Drew Dixon

Position: Wide Receiver

Year: RS Sophomore

Size: 6-feet-3-inches | 215 pounds

Stats in 2018: No stats recorded

The mystery of Drew Dixon! A standout at Sabino High School here in Tucson, AZ, I was a big fan of his coming in, because he could seemingly do it all. With Sabino, he would line-up in the backfield, line-up under center or play as a wide receiver.

He put up insane numbers in high school, but just hasn’t made that transition to college football yet. Luckily, he’s still rather young, but has enough experience in this system/ program that he should have an opportunity to break out this year.

First off, you have to like his size. He comes in at 6-feet-3-inches and over 200 pounds. He’s big, athletic, and the fact the Arizona receiving corp is a big unknown at this point, that makes him a favorite to make a sizable jump in production in 2019!

He looked solid in the Spring Scrimmage, making a couple nice catches, but overall, I think this is the year we finally see Drew!
