Arizona Football: Ranking the Top Five upsets in Arizona Stadium

This year Arizona Stadium will turn 91 years old, and has certainly played host to a number of memorable Arizona Football games, including some big upsets!

Tucson has had a long history of being a place where teams stumble unexpectedly. Maybe it’s the heat, maybe it’s the impact of the Zona Zoo, or perhaps it’s something else, but there is something special that happens when ranked teams come to town to take on Arizona Football.

While we must admit Arizona certainly doesn’t have the most illustrious history, we can’t help but still get excited for the imminent start to the 2019 football season.

As we are just a month away from kick-off, that got us reminiscing about some of the great wins we’ve witnessed first hand, or watching via highlights (us younger folks anyways).

So with a little help and inspiration from our fans, and to help pass the time until the start of the 2019 season, we’ve decided to take a look at some of the best upsets that have happened in Tucson!

Surprisingly, the list was certainly much more difficult to choose, spanning over several decades, but with that said, here are my Top Five Arizona upsets that have happened at Arizona Stadium!
