Arizona Basketball makes Top 7 for Ziaire Williams
TUCSON, AZ – Another day, another top list has been released that features the Arizona Basketball team for a top prospect in the class of 2020!
Making waves in the class of 2020 is the Arizona Basketball team, as the Wildcats have made another top list for a premier prospect!
Interestingly enough, this is now the fifth top list in the past few weeks where the Wildcats were listed as a finalist! The most recent list of course being Peyton Watson in the class of 2021!

However, meet the latest prospect to do so in 2020 small forward, Ziaire Williams. Considered a five-star prospect, Williams is rated as the No. 7 overall player in the class, and he’s certainly big time athlete!
Standing an impressive 6-feet-7-inches and 175 pounds, the wing hails from Sierra Canyon High School in Southern California, and already holds offers from numerous schools.
Now a soon-to-be senior, Williams has decided to narrow his list of schools to seven, and on that list is Arizona. In addition to the Wildcats, you will also find; Duke, North Carolina, USC, Stanford, Oregon and UCLA.
The latest news of Williams’ recruitment made the rounds via social media, when he announced his list of top seven schools!
While there’s is still a little work left for Sean Miller and the Wildcats to do, this is a great start!
Williams is certainly a big-time talent with good size and length, and possesses the ability to fill out and add strength to his already big frame! He has great overall athleticism, is a plus defender, and can pull up from almost anywhere on the floor!
He’s definitely a multi-positional player that can possibly play at the two and four depending on what you want to do with your roster, but he’s mostly a three.
He can slash to the basket, he can post up, but overall he’s just a fantastic player with high upside.
You can clearly see his talent anytime he steps on the court, just watch for yourself!
At Zona Zealots, we’re glad to see the Wildcats doing well in this recruitment, but we know we got a ways to go! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
