It’s going to be a busy weekend for the Arizona Football team. As the seniors celebrate their last home game, the Wildcats will play host to a few recruits.

We’re winding down in the 2019 Arizona Football season, and even though the season will soon be over, we’re not even close to the Wildcats being done on the recruiting trail.

To put it bluntly, things have been rough for the Arizona Football program. The team is just 4-6 on the year, and the recruiting so far has been pretty rough to say the least

So just how rough has it been? Well, as it stands, the Wildcats’ recruiting class ranks 74th nationally according to 247Sports, and is also ranked as the No. 10 overall class in the Pac-12 Conference.

The major thing to note is that this staff is being more patient this year, and have certainly gone through their fair share of staffing changes recently as well, so you got to think that at least has a little bit of an effect. Nonetheless, I don’t I’m alone here in saying the recruiting has been fairly lackluster.

It is worth noting, that Arizona only has 13 commits in the class, so there is plenty of space for more players, and also that ranking could surely improve with a few more players as well.

The good news is that it’s not even December, and it’s still a ways away until National Signing Day in February. That’s plenty of time for head coach Kevin Sumlin to find a competent staff, hit the recruiting trail hard, and hopefully improve some things rather quickly.

Another good thing for the Wildcats is that they will have a busy weekend this weekend, as Arizona will play host to a number of key targets in the class of 2020.

Here is who will be in town this weekend!

Offers Out: Arizona, Kentucky, Texas Tech, Maryland, Toledo, Arkansas, Houston and Iowa State among others.

One of the highest rated offensive linemen in the Junior College ranks in the class of 2020, Jeremy Flax will come to Tucson this weekend with numerous offers in hand.

He’s a big, talented lineman with a lot of skill and upside! A standout at the talented Independence Community College, he is a big time recruit, and one that could severely help solidify the offensive line should he come to Arizona.

He has great size, he’s pretty mobile for a guy his size and plays with a bit of nastiness. He excels in the run game mostly, but shows great discipline and performance in the passing game as well!

Just look at what he’s able to do!

Offers Out: Arizona, Nebraska, SMU, Western Kentucky and South Alabama among others.

A standout linebacker in the Junior College ranks for the class of 2020, Jamoi Hodge will finally come to Tucson this weekend after previously visiting Nebraska this past weekend.

The thing to like about Hodge, is that he already possesses ideal size for a collegiate linebacker, and certainly has the ability to add more size as well!

Hodge is fast, aggressive and has a tremendous motor. Overall he shows great directional speed, is able to drop into coverage rather easily and naturally, and is also able to pursue the ball carrier, packing a mean punch in his tackles. If he were to come to Arizona, he’d be a nice addition.

Just look at what he’s able to do!

Offers Out: Arizona, Virginia Tech, Illinois, Minnesota, Maryland, Nebraska and SMU among others.

One of the newer targets in the class of 2020 is Junior College defensive end, DeVere Levelston. Levelston is a big time talent with some big time offers and luckily will be in town this weekend!

First off, DeVere is a tremendously skilled player that Arizona could use along the defensive line right now! Just a freshman at Tyler Community College, he has great size, quickness and toughness.

He’s explosive off the line of scrimmage, pursues the football and absolutely punishes the ball carrier. He possesses that ‘meanness’ that Arizona needs along a defensive line that hasn’t had much pressure in the opposing backfields recently.

Just look at his highlights from this year!

Offers Out: Arizona, Colorado State, Oklahoma State, Nevada, UNLV and Utah State among others.

One of the more underrated guys in the class of 2020, Mason Cobb is a guy that is quickly picking up steam on the recruiting trail and Arizona is definitely trying to make an impact here and for good reason!

A standout at the high school ranks in Utah, Mason is a fantastic athlete. He has good size, plays a bit like a safety is very active on the football field!

He can make a play from virtually anywhere. He can drop into coverage, he can make a tackle in the open field, and he can get into the backfield and apply pressure.

Lastly, he packs a mean punch when it comes to hitting and can deliver one hell of a blow on the ball carrier! He will be in town this weekend, and the Wildcats making a huge impression would be a big deal!

Just take a look at what he can do!
