The 2019 Arizona Football season is officially over, and with the Wildcats going bowl less again, the focus is now on to recruiting where the Cats have gained a commit.

It’s only been a couple days after the Arizona Football team walked off the field for the last time in 2019, and with the Wildcats going bowl less again, the work is on to get things corrected for Kevin Sumlin and the Cats.

As coach alluded to in his post-game press conference, it’s a process and we got to be patient.

To be fair, it’s only been two seasons, and a decent amount of the players currently on roster are holdovers from the Rich Rodriguez years, and aren’t necessarily guys that were recruited to fit Sumlin’s system.

The only way to get things turned around, or fixed to the way he likes it, it’s going to be in recruiting and development. The latter part comes with time, but the former can be impacted now.

As it stands, Arizona had the 73rd recruiting class overall, that is until Monday after, when the Wildcats picked up their 14th commitment of the 2020 class, and it’s a good one!

Meet Regen Terry, the three-star Florence High School (Florence, AZ) defensive end!

Standing an impressive, 6-feet-3.5-inches and 230 pounds, Terry comes in at a dire position of need, and comes in with plenty of upside.

Holding offers from Boston College, Nebraska, Arizona State, Cal and Kansas State among others, Terry decided to shut down his recruitment, making his decision known via social media.

A standout at Florence High School, again Terry comes in at a position of need, and also comes in with plenty of upside.

So what’s to like about Terry? Well, for one he has a solid frame that can easily add more size to at the next level, and still be effective.

Additionally, he’s a long and athletic end that plays rather physical, creates pressure in the backfield, and is a rather good tackler. All things that you got to like as an Arizona fan!

Just take a look for yourself!
