Former Wildcat Rob Gronkowski selected to NFL’s 100 All-Time Team

Fresh off his well-deserved retirement, former Wildcat and NFL superstar Rob Gronkowski gets selected to the NFL’s 100 All-Time team.

It’s been a busy few months for Rob Gronkowski! Subsequently after winning the NFL’s LIII Super Bowl with the New England Patriots, the former Wildcat announced his retirement from football.

After a tremendous, nine-year playing career, Gronkowski called it quits, hanging up the cleats as one of the NFL’s most loveable and charismatic players walked away from the game for the last time.

Making himself known not just for his antics, but rather his stellar play, the light-hearted tight end finished with a very impressive, 521 receptions for 7,861 yards and 79 touchdowns.

However, just as football does to every other player, the hits and grind of a 16-game season (not including pre-season) wore on him, as Gronkowski’s health had seemingly deteriorated over the last few years of his career.

Valuing health over production, Gronkowski has since shifted his focus on his post-football career, taking part in various endeavors from product endorsement, entertainment and more!

While it’s indeed great to see our former Wildcat finding success away from the football field as well, we can’t forget where it all started for him!

That’s why after an amazing, nine-year playing career, Gronkowski has been named to the NFL’s 100 All-Time team!

The news was announced on Friday by the NFL, as Gronk was just one of five tight ends selected to the prestigious list!

Certainly a great, and well-deserved accomplishment, as Gronkowski has had quite the impressive career all things considered!

Should have he played another couple years and stayed healthy, there’s no telling what kind of dominant numbers he could have continued to produce!

While playing, he certainly dazzled us fans with his talent!

At Zona Zealots, we’re proud of Rob and all his accomplishments and wish him continued success even in post-football! As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
