Still trying to find a clear path to the NBA, former Wildcat Brandon Randolph has been added to the Milwaukee Bucks’ G-League roster!

Brandon Randolph is on the move! After announcing to go to the NBA Draft instead of staying in school just a few short months ago, the former Wildcat had hopes of getting to the next level.

Despite a rather solid college career that was ultimately marred by ups and downs, Brandon still had plenty of potential, although the move to try and make an NBA roster felt a bit premature. Nonetheless, we were incredibly supportive and optimistic of Brandon’s prospects and hoped for the best.

Well, as draft night came and went, his name was never called that evening, but he was at least able to sign with an NBA team for the summer, with the hopes to make an NBA roster.

While his opportunities were limited, Brandon appeared in spot minutes for just two games with the Minnesota Timberwolves, finishing the Summer League by averaging 2.5 points and 1.0 assists per game. Unfortunately for him, it was just too small of a sample size for him to make a team.

Since then he’s just been buying his time, just looking for his chance somewhere.

Finally, the opportunity he’s been looking for is coming and we couldn’t be more excited for him! On Wednesday afternoon, it was announced that Brandon would be signing with the Milwaukee Bucks’ G-League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd!

Granted I’m sure it’s not where he would ultimately like to be, however, it is a start and it is an opportunity for him to showcase his talent. What he does from this point on is entirely up to him!

Nonetheless, this is a great starting point for him and we wish him nothing but the best moving forward.
