Arizona Football adds transfer in Matthew Stefanski
Making more roster moves this off-season, the Arizona Football team has added Matthew Stefanski, a Offensive Line transfer from Grand Valley State!
You wanted big bodies? Well, more are coming! Especially as the Wildcats have added a transfer in Grand Valley State’s, Matthew Stefanski!
Originally a standout lineman at Frankfort High School in Frankfort, Michigan, Stefanski had went to Grand Valley State, playing his freshman season, earning a letter and even playing a bit at guard.

Well now fast forward to this year, and Stefanski had decided he wanted a new challenge, announcing he would be transferring, and on Thursday, he made his announcement and intention to transfer to the University of Arizona!
At this time, it is difficult to gauge whether he will be immediately available or not, but I’m sure the school is looking at their options at this point.
It’s worth noting, that the Lakers do play at the Division II level, so perhaps it being only Division II, could play a factor in whether he is allowed to play immediately or not.
Either way, the addition of Stefanski is great and make no mistake about that!
For one, he already has college game experience, which is important, but also he brings great size and depth to the position. Standing 6-feet-4-inches and 314 pounds, that’s exactly what the Wildcats need to help bolster and fill out the offensive line.
Plus, Matthew is a good athlete, where again he was a standout football player while at Frankfort High School!
Just by looking at his high school film, there is plenty to like! In addition to being a big body, he moves well for a player his size, and what I like the most is his physicality, strength and athleticism!
Mostly lining up at tackle, he looks very fluid and smooth in his blocks, excelling mostly in run blocking. He initiates contact well, has very active feet and doesn’t get too tall in his blocks! He also seems to do a great job in keeping his hands inside the shoulders, ultimately finishing his blocks well!
