As free agency continues in the NFL, making news in one of the most recent transactions is that Former Wildcat Will Parks is headed home to Philadelphia.

It’s been a busy and wild free agency in the NFL so far, as numerous roster moves have been made. One of the more eye-catching moves for us Arizona Football fans thus far, has been the signing of Former Wildcat Will Parks.

The signing made news today via social media, as we all learned that Will will heading back home to Philly.

The veteran safety has reportedly signed a one-year deal worth $1.6 million, with one million being guaranteed, including a $375k signing bonus according to NJ.com’s Mike Kaye.

Having played with the Denver Broncos for the past four seasons, Philly Will has made quite the name for himself as a versatile and talented, play making safety.

Because of his ability and reputation, he had a few other potential suitors in the league hoping to acquire his services, before ultimately picking the Eagles.

The cool thing here, is that Will essentially turned down those other opportunities in order to play at home and continue to make a positive impact in his community.

For the Eagles, they certainly got a great one, as Will brought a lot of joy here in Tucson, and continues to seemingly do so in the NFL as well! Philly fans should be happy about this!

Here’s how he fared while in the Mile High City!

If that’s not impressive enough, he was also one just of five defensive backs in the league last year that didn’t commit a single penalty, while also still playing at least 500 snaps. That’s impressive!

However, coming in he will have to fill some big shoes though, especially as he replaces Malcolm Jenkins.

The good thing for Philadelphia, is that they are getting a terrific young man that works hard and brings a lot of talent to the ‘City of Brotherly Love’!
