This week, Kerwin Walton has narrowed his list of schools down to six, which features Arizona. Could the 2020 four-star wing be deciding soon?

Things are winding down for 2020 four-star recruit Kerwin Walton, as the talented wing has narrowed down his choice to six schools which includes; UNC, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, and Creighton in addition to Arizona.

Just as an aside, Walton is a senior at Hopkins High School in Minnesota, and was teammate to former Wildcat, Zeke Nnaji.

As we continue into the off-season, Coach Sean Miller still searches for more players to fill out his 2020 recruiting class. One way he could do so, is by adding versatile wing players like Walton, who can play multiple positions, after Arizona will likely have to replace Josh Green, in addition to Dylan Smith.

So why should the Wildcats be all in on Walton? Well, besides possibly having an in with Zeke being a former teammate, Kerwin is a sharp shooter, as the senior averaged 16.7 points per game this past season.

As a junior, Walton shot 48 percent from deep and impressed many scouts with his unique skill set. After watching some videos on him, he seems like a very confident player that is able to score the ball at all three levels on the floor: in the paint, mid-range, and from three- point range.

Standing at 6-feet-6-inches, it allows Miller to be able to play him at three positions, as he is also a good ball handler.

During his time at Hopkins, he spent a lot of time playing on the ball which is good when trying to either break the press in the full court, or just to switch up the offensive play, getting everyone involved.

Walton looks like a very good fit playing next to incoming four-star guard Dalen Terry, where he is an above average catch and shoot player, that can also create for himself off the dribble in the half court.

It would be good for these two young talented players to grow together, hopefully while playing at the University of Arizona for a few seasons, as they both do not project to be one-and-done players.

With both guys standing 6-feet-6-inches, it will allow them to play both guard positions interchangeably, while adding versatility on the defensive end.

Something that might draw him to Arizona, is seeing fellow Hopkins teammate Zeke Nnaji succeed under Sean Miller as only a four star recruit too.

For example, if he chose the University of North Carolina, he most likely will not have as big of a role early on in his collegiate career, which looks like it would be the opposite if he comes to Tucson.

According to Rivals.com, they give the Wildcats a 100 percent at landing him in their future cast, where they project what college the top prospects will eventually play for.

Just take a look at his game!

If the Arizona Wildcats look to make more noise in the Pac-12 next season, it will be big if they can land four-star prospect Kerwin Walton. He would start rounding out a respectable recruiting class for Coach Miller along with Dalen (four-star from Phoenix) and Ben Mathurin (four-star from Canada). As always, Bear Down, Arizona!
