Making moves in the class of 2020, the Arizona Basketball team picked up a commitment from Seattle transfer, Terrell Brown.

You wanted more basketball players? Well, you’re getting them! And with the recent commitment of Terrell Brown, let me tell you, he’s a good one.

Even amid the Corona Virus hiatus, and with recruiting virtually hitting a standstill, the Wildcats stayed aggressive in the transfer market, making Brown a priority after he had announced his intent to transfer.

On Monday afternoon, Wildcat fans got the good news when his commitment broke via social media, virtually picking the Wildcats over offers from San Diego State, Washington, Texas Tech and others.

This is a big addition by Arizona, as many I’m sure were wondering just where the Wildcats’ scoring was going to come from. Well, how about from the WAC’s leading scorer this past season!

Brown had this to say about his decision, according to ESPN College Basketball Insider, Jeff Borzello: “The coaching staff was honest with me the first time we talked on the phone. The relationship we built kept getting stronger and stronger, and I think we can continue to build it.”

Originally a standout at Shoreline Community College in Washington, Brown decided to transfer to Seattle, where he spent the last two seasons, and will now get to play his final graduate season in Tucson.

“The coaching staff was honest with me the first time we talked on the phone. The relationship we built kept getting stronger and stronger, and I think we can continue to build it.”

Standing 6-feet-2-inches and 175-pounds, the scoring guard led the WAC and the Seattle Redhawks in scoring with 20.8 points per game. That’s also not to be outdone by his 6.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game average either.

Immediately he will add scoring power to Arizona’s back court that was in dire need of some help.

Terrell is a great scoring threat, showing the ability at getting to the rim with relative ease. While he’s not a particularly great shooter, he makes up for it in other ways, and is extremely quick with the basketball.

He can fill up a stat sheet and impact the game in a number of ways, and for Arizona, that will be needed in 2020-21.

Just take a look as he scored 31 points against Grand Canyon last season!
