On Monday, the news of Madison’s commitment broke, as she committed via social media. And let’s just say, this is a great pick up for the Cats!

For those that don’t know who she is, Madison is the 5-foot-11 guard who hails from Perry High School in Gilbert, AZ, and comes in ranked as the No. 56 overall recruit and a four-star guard according to Prospects Nation.

As it stands, as Madison committed, she becomes the first member of the 2021 recruiting class, and as stated, she’s a good one!

A multi-sports standout at Perry High School, Conner had a terrific junior season, helping pace the Pumas to a 21-8 record, as she appeared in all 29 games. She finished the season by averaging 20.0 points, 3.2 assists, 6.9 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game according to Maxpreps.

Now that’s the kind of player who would certainly fit in well with what Barnes is trying to do here in Tucson! And just by looking at her film, she’s impressive!

First off, Madison can score at all three levels, and possesses some deadly range from downtown. She’s great at pushing tempo, is great at spotting up and pulling the jumper and can also catch and shoot. Overall, she’s a tremendous player!

Just watch for yourself!

With the talent the Wildcats are continuing to add, this is going to continue to be a talented roster for the coming years!
