Adding yet another piece to the class of 2020, the Arizona Basketball team has received yet another commitment, this time from four-star, Tibet Gorener.

The Wildcats are on a roll! Just weeks after the Arizona Basketball team had few players coming in for 2020, Sean Miller and the Cats have added another piece to the class in four-star forward, Tibet Gorener.

Originally hailing from Turkey, we talked a bit about Gorener already, and how he was a key target for the Cats. Well, on Monday evening Tibet made it official as he committed to the Wildcats, making him the fifth player added to the class, not including the incoming transfers of (Jordan Brown, Terrell Brown and James Akinjo).

Ranking as the No. 147 overall player according to 247Sports, Gorener is the slim, 6-foot-8, 195-pound forward who played at Orange Lutheran this past season in Orange, CA.

On paper, the addition is a solid one, especially as Gorener projects as a multi-year player with solid upside. Despite being just a slim, 195-pounds, he has the opportunity to add weight and quickly too.

With his length, he helps to add size to the Wildcats’ roster, and helps to stretch and spread that offense.

What I mean by that is; Gorener is not a traditional face-up forward who strictly plays his back to the basket. He actually possesses good shooting skills that extend all the way out to the arc and is a solid player off the dribble, giving him more value than strictly being just a catch-and-shoot player.

He’s got great length that could make him into being a solid defender and rebounder, especially once he puts on more size. He’s got plus-athleticism and is a decent passer as well, look for him to potentially develop into a good role player or better in the future!

I mean just watch for yourself!
