With the 2020 Arizona Basketball recruiting class likely done, the Wildcats turn their focus to 2021, making an offer to Virginia guard, Angelo Brizzi.

Arizona Basketball never stops, and more importantly their recruiting never stops. As we all saw, Sean Miller did wonders to wrap-up a tremendous class for 2020, however, the focus now turns to 2021, with Virginia-based guard Angelo Brizzi perhaps being a potential focus.

As we all should know, it’s that in the world of recruiting, nothing is ever a ‘given’, and you always have to have options as a coach.

With offers out to players like; Paolo Banchero, Jahmai Mashack, Ben Gregg, Moussa Diabate and Nolan Hickman among numerous others, it’s smart to multiple offers in the event all of your top targets for each position need don’t work out.

One of those options seems to be recently offered guard, Angelo Brizzi.

Making news via social media on Tuesday, was that Brizzi was offered by the Wildcats and by the looks of it, his recruitment is heating up!

Already holding offers from; Cal, Colorado, Georgetown, LSU, Michigan, Marquette, Villanova and Virginia Tech among others, the Wildcats were smart to offer.

Brizzi is a rather solid point guard who is steadily climbing the ranks, and could potentially be a multi-year player with solid upside!

He stands an impressive 6-feet-3-inches and 170 pounds, and will only continue to develop from here.

A standout at Highland High School in Warrenton, VA, Brizzi finished the season averaging 20.3 points, 6.6 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 3.2 steals per game according to Maxpreps.

While he is talented on the offensive end that can score at all three levels, Angelo is much more than just being a scorer and shooter. He’s very active on the defensive end, and can disrupt passing lanes using his length.

He is explosive, athletic and a player that looks like a great fit for Sean Miller’s system!

Just look at his film!
